Brian Lang is the Director of Healthy Food Access Programs at The Food Trust. He joined the agency in 2002 to run the organization’s farmers’ markets in Philadelphia, and in the intervening years has overseen a number of state and national initiatives to improve people’s access to healthy food. As part of his work, Brian has developed and managed HFFIs in multiple states across the country, helped to bring SNAP/EBT to farmers’ markets, advocated for policies that provide people with the resources they need to purchase healthy food, and advised non-profit organizations and government agencies on healthy food access programs and policies.
